Arrival in Split and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free.
Split is a historic city built about 1700 years ago and preserved by the local population in order to bring its history alive. Take a walking tour of Diocletian’s imperial palace, the most famous monument in the city. It is one of the largest and most important structures in Split, an architectural must-see and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
For your culinary pleasure we recommend that you go to Konoba Fetivi, a small, simple establishment offering delicious local dishes such as black risotto, grilled meat and apple strudel for dessert. Ostarija u Vidakovi is another typical restaurant where you can eat beef with gnocchi or “pasticada stew”. At the welcoming Konoba Korta, you can enjoy cuisine that is more focused on fish and fresh seafood.

The city of Hvar, located on the queen of the Dalmatian islands, is the oldest touristic center in Dalmatia. It is rich in interesting historic monuments such as the 16th century theatre and the 13th century arsenal. These beautiful monuments, surrounded by various ancient palaces, make up a melting pot of architectural and cultural styles. Take the time to visit the Franciscan Monastery known for its many works of art like Ingoli’s “Last Supper”.
Why not discover some of the beaches the rest of the day? Hvar is known as the jet setting Saint Tropez of Croatia with relaxing white sand and blue ocean to enjoy. For the active types, don’t miss exploring the fortress of Spanjola, or get lost in the narrow streets of the city center. On your way back you will pass some of the most visited sites like St. Stephen’s Square, the Clock Tower and Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.
