Jour 1 – Montréal – Split

Departure from Montreal to Split

Jour 2 – Split

Arrival in Split and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Split.

Jour 3 – Split – Hvar

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a walking tour of Split in the late morning. This lively coastal city in Dalmatia is gaining popularity among travelers for its relaxed atmosphere, diverse dining options, bustling shopping scene, and rich heritage.

Discover the history of Diocletian’s Palace, originally built as a retirement residence for the Roman emperor and now serving as a bustling city center home to 2,000 people! End your day with a ferry or catamaran trip from Split to the neighboring island of Hvar.

Jour 4 – Hvar

The town of Hvar, located on the queen of the Dalmatian islands, is the oldest tourist center in Dalmatia. It is a place rich in historical monuments that are sure to pique your interest. Visit the 16th-century theater or the 13th-century arsenal. These beautiful monuments are surrounded by old palaces of various architectural styles, creating a true cultural melting pot.

Finally, take the time to visit the old Franciscan monastery. It is known for its many works of art by great masters. For example, you can see Ingoli’s painting, “The Last Supper.” This day will also be an opportunity for you to discover the city’s beautiful beaches. Hvar is a rather jet-set location, known as the Croatian “Saint-Tropez.”

Jour 5 – Hvar – Korcula

After breakfast, enjoy your last moments in Hvar relaxing on the white sandy beach or, if you’re more of an active type, don’t miss Spanjola Fortress.

Then lose yourself in the narrow streets of the town center. You’re bound to find your way back while passing other must-see sights in the town, such as St. Stephen’s Square, the Clock Tower, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Continue by ferry to the island of Korcula.

Jour 6 – Korcula – Dubrovnik

The old town of Korcula is crisscrossed by a series of narrow streets that branch off from the main street like the bones of a fish. The architecture of the old town is mainly influenced by the Venetian Renaissance. The old town center is dominated by the splendid Gothic-Renaissance St. Mark’s Cathedral, completed in the 15th century on the site of another 13th-century church.

There is a local legend that Marco Polo was born in the town of Korcula, and visiting his birthplace is well worth the detour. The house is under the protection of the Korcula Town Hall and will soon be converted into a Marco Polo museum. In the afternoon, continue to Dubrovnik by ferry.

Jour 7 – Dubrovnik

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Dubrovnik’s old town, also known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Today, Dubrovnik is the proudest jewel in Croatia’s tourist crown, an elite destination and one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean.

The old town is surrounded by medieval walls, which have been preserved in their original form and are open to visitors as a main attraction. The entire city is a living monument and a rich treasure trove of history. Discover the city through its old medieval walls, dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, and its gates.

Along the way, you will pass the Bokar Tower, Lovrijenac Fortress, and Minceta Tower, symbolic locations where the hit series “Game of Thrones” was filmed. Free afternoon to discover the city’s hidden gems such as Stradun, Bokar Tower, Lovrijenac Fortress, and Minceta Tower.

Jour 8 – Dubrovnik

Customize this day according to your preferences, whether you are looking for relaxation or an adventure exploring the neighboring islands. Local recommendations include a visit to Lokrum Island, easily accessible from the Old Town harbor.

Lokrum offers a peaceful day out, with its lush forests of holm oaks, pines, and laurels that are home to the island’s only permanent residents, peacocks and rabbits. Not far away, the Elaphiti Islands are full of sandy beaches, heritage sites, and hiking trails.
