Arrival in Nairobi. Welcome and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free to rest or explore the capital before your tour begins the next day.

- Jour 3 – NAIROBI | MONT KENYA | OL PEJETA (220KM/03h45)

Breakfast at the hotel and free morning.
Start of your tour. Travel north, passing through magnificent tea and coffee plantations, with a stop planned at the Sagana market.
For dinner, you will have the pleasure of enjoying a menu featuring locally farmed trout at a local restaurant in the heart of a sacred fig tree.
After the meal, you will continue your journey to the Ol Pejeta Private Game Reserve, dominated by the country’s highest peak, Mount Kenya, which rises to 5,199 meters above sea level. Ol Pejeta, one of the world’s most important black rhino sanctuaries, is also home to the last two northern white rhinos. Next, set off on an exciting adventure in search of the fabulous “Big Five” (lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffalo).

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to discover Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary, home to primates from all corners of the African continent. The center’s mission is to rehabilitate mammals that have been used as test subjects, pets, or movie extras, allowing them to return harmoniously to the wild within the reserve.
After lunch, continue your journey to Shaba National Reserve, overlooked by the volcano of the same name. This semi-desert region, prized for its natural beauty and biodiversity, is the habitat of choice for rare and precious species such as the reticulated giraffe and Grévy’s zebra.

In the morning, enjoy a safari in the heart of a captivatingly beautiful environment: the Samburu Reserve. Located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River, this reserve is surrounded by oases where animals come to drink—a magical sight for those lucky enough to witness it!
In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to discover the daily life of the Samburu people, who are mainly goat and camel herders.

Drive to Lake Nakuru. A picnic-style lunch will be served en route, followed by check-in at the camp in the afternoon.

Depart for a safari around Lake Nakuru, a vast water source that attracts a multitude of wild animals. During your adventure, you will have the opportunity to observe leopards perched on the branches of acacia trees lining the shores, as well as giraffes, buffalo, and rhinos.
A picnic dinner awaits you.
You will continue westward towards the legendary Masai Mara. This region is renowned for its extraordinarily rich wildlife, and the savannah, populated by Mara wildebeests, is undoubtedly one of its main attractions. You will then set off on a walking safari, accompanied by a Masai guide.

After breakfast, you will drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, which offers an ideal setting for bird watching and hippopotamus viewing.
Dinner at the hotel.
Approximately 1-hour cruise on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari on the private reserve of Crescent Island, where you can see a large number of animal species, such as giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, and even warthogs.

- Jour 11 – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK (400 km/5.5 hours)

Travel to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest parks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on Maasai land, the park offers breathtaking views of Africa’s highest peak: the legendary Kilimanjaro.
After a picnic lunch, set off on a memorable safari. Amboseli, located between swamp and savannah, offers a magnificent vantage point for viewing elephants and the more than 400 species of birds recorded in the park. Interesting fact: this national park was the inspiration for The Snows of Kilimanjaro, a short story by the famous author Ernest Hemingway.

Early departure for a safari dedicated to exploring the majestic landscapes and opulent wildlife of Tsavo National Park.

You will be spoiled by today’s itinerary, which will take you on an unforgettable safari in Kenya’s largest national park, teeming with wildlife! Nature and photography lovers will be delighted by the contrasting landscapes, where rolling plains meet volcanic rocks.

In the afternoon, a wonderful experience awaits you: a train ride from Voi to Nairobi, where you will have the chance to admire the magnificent scenery.

After breakfast, head north of Nairobi to visit a tea plantation and learn about the Kenyan tea-making process.
Dinner in the farm gardens with tea tasting.
After dinner, you will have the opportunity to visit the Giraffe Center, dedicated to the preservation of Rothschild giraffes, which are threatened with extinction. Thanks to the site’s elevated platform, you will be able to approach and even feed the giraffes by hand!
Transfer to the airport and flight to Montreal.
